Cardboard

Endangered/Extinct Series, NY, NY, 2016-2017
Acknowledging the interconnectedness of humans and their co-habitants, this series addresses our impact on the environment and the effect it has on vulnerable species. Using cardboard as a metaphor for consumerism, animals in their demise are displayed similarly to the practice of taking those lives for granted. In this series are the Pyrenean Ibex, West African Black Rhinoceros, African Lion, Lowland Gorilla, Pacific Walrus, Hirola Antelope, and the Yellow-Faced Bee.
